With 5,555 square feet of raw space, the penthouse on the 59th floor of the Millennium Tower was a designer's dream. Every detail and material was selected to live up to this unique location, while providing the hit of glamour the owner requested.

Outfitted with nero marquina floors, the foyer is a fitting introduction to a home that was consciously designed to dazzle. Custom-dyed English sycamore panels clad floating walls that contain fireplaces, niches for art, and a see-through wine cabinet. In the gallery hall, blind doors conceal a dramatic mosaic-tiled powder room and a nickel plated wet bar.

Floating silver-leaf-and-lacquered ceilings with hidden lighting help define rooms that are also designed to be open to the views. A divider wall of internally lit black onyx and an airy large-scale pendant underscore the glamor of the dining area.

The interior oval library is the juncture between public and private areas. With curving macassar ebony and leather panels, the room is both cozy and moody - just the place for an after-dinner drink by the fireplace. Custom furnishings, rugs, and art add grace notes throughout.
